Gedser Water Tower
Gedser Water Tower is Denmark's southernmost water tower - built in 1912 - and worked as a necessary part of Gedser water supply until 1966.

In 1994 formed a group of interested citizens a conservation association whose purpose was to save the tower from decay and also do a complete renovation to the benefit of both local residents and the many tourists.
From the tower's upper plateau you have a magnificent view over Gedser city, ferry port and surrounding area. The restoration was soon so far advanced that the first guests were welcomed in 1997-season.
